National Walking Month: Week 3

This walk will take you along the side of the village, around the cricket ground and back along the old railway line. This walk has been tried and tested by members on staff and should take 30 minutes – please bare in mind this can vary depending on walking speed.

2. Turn right and continue down the high street.

3. Once you reach the end of the street, it will turn into a path running along the right hand side of a grass area (see image) – Cranleigh carnival is held on this grass area.

4. Continue along this path, it will curve towards the right about half way. The cricket ground will begin on your left.

5. Continue you follow the perimeter of the cricket ground, you will need to cross the road to do this at some point (see image).

6. Once you reach the main road (see image), you will turn left and walk a couple of meters. Across the road you will see a road running alongside of Cranleigh common (see image).

7. Follow this road to the end.

8. Once you reach the end you will need to go left and follow a path that will take you around the houses right in front of you (see image).

9. This will take you onto the old railway line.
