The store was founded in 1887 by David Mann and occupied premises in the centre of the village of Cranleigh. The family originally lived above the shop, but as trade flourished living accommodation was turned into furniture showrooms, the gardens were transformed into stores and the neighbouring cottage was incorporated.
Over the years, the village of Cranleigh has changed dramatically, but Manns has retained its original character. The store is still renowned for its excellent choice of contemporary and traditional furniture, carpets and rugs, beds and linens. Ironmongery mingles with fine china and the cookshop has the reputation for the finest selection of equipment and accessories in the county.
Discerning customers appreciate the old-fashioned courtesy and personal service that is exemplified by Manns of Cranleigh.
The store can still be found at the heart of the village, with its own car park at the rear.

We look forward to welcoming you soon.
